Two Facing Death In Drug Trafficking Case

Bandar Seri Begawan - A Malaysian man and woman who are facing the death
penalty for a charge of possessing almost 1000 grammes of Cannabis were
ordered remanded for further investigations on the case.

The Bandar Magistrate's Court heard that Gary Shih Cheng Cheuan, 24, and
24-year-old Jerry Wong are alleged to have possession of 964.733 grammes
of Cannabis for the purpose of trafficking on May 11, this year - while
in a vehicle at the vicinity of a restaurant in Kg Sengkarai Tutong.

Both defendants are detained at the Jerudong Prisons until further
