UK: Jury In Drug Dealing Trial Sent Home (THC4MS)

Monday 04 Dec 2006 JURY in a Carlisle drug- dealing trial has been sworn in and then sent home for the rest of the day. Three people, including a man and wife, are accused of conspiring to supply cannabis. Mark Gibson, 42, and his wife Lezley, 42, both from Alston, are charged along side Marcus Davies, 36, from St Ives, Cambridgeshire. All face two charges each of conspiring together to supply cannabis between January 2004 and February 2005. All three deny the charges. The trial, at Carlisle Crown Court, may go on into next week.
