UK: Pair's Pot Chocs
Jan Disley The Mirror
Wednesday 06 Dec 2006 A COUPLE made chocolate bars laced with cannabis and sold them to multiple sclerosis victims, a court heard yesterday. Mark Gibson and wife Lezley - who has MS - were said to have distributed around 22,000 "Canna-Biz" bars. They were allegedly helped by Marcus Davies, who operated a PO Box address. Prosecutor Jeremy Grout-Smith told Carlisle crown court: "To supply cannabis, even if you believe it is doing good, is not a defence." The Gibsons, of Alston, Cumbria, and Davies, of St Ives, Cambs, deny conspiring to supply cannabis. The trial continues. http://www.mirror.co.uk/ -- Please sign these petitions: http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/search?q=Cannabis+ WebBooks Amazing Amazon Store: http://astore.amazon.co.uk/webbooks05
