Letter: They should be given medals (4) - THC4MS
Clara O’Donnell News and Star, Carlisle
Saturday 23 Dec 2006 LEZLEY and Mark Gibson along with Marcus Davies have between them created and supplied a medicine the government cannot provide for free. Their work is inspirational and they should by rights be rewarded for the hard work and care they have put into helping people whom suffer from MS. Those responsible for the charges bought against THC4MS will have to live with their decision, even after cannabis is legalised for medical use. I know lots of people with MS; the medicines available have terrible side effects, and all the MS sufferers I know believe THC4MS were doing the right thing. How can anyone in this country who does not have MS have any right to take away their medicine and leave them in lifelong pain? Tony Blair knew of THC4MS in 2003, please sign the petition if you believe the prosecution unjust. Go to petitions.pm. gov.uk/medi-cannabis/. I am ashamed to be British with a justice system that does not work. Clara O’Donnell Chancery Lane Nuneaton
