Letter: Cannabis Policy Kept Quiet

Simon McLaren was correct to say that Green Party politicians seem keep their policy on cannabis quiet ("Not convinced by Dutch Model", EN April 20)

However, the Greens are not alone: although we read about cannabis in the press almost every day the politicians remain silent

I'd like to hear the views of the candidates themselves, not just the party policies, because I have learned that not all candidates agree with their party.

How do they think the law ought to treat those in possession of or cultivating cannabis for their own use when they do no harm?
