We're very pleased to introduce Sophia Parkin, who will be standing in her home constituency of Louth and Horncastle in Lincolnshire.

Have a read of 22-year-old Sophia's thoughts on the benefits of reform:

"Having come from a respectable and hard-working family of people who openly use cannabis, I feel that the common taboos linked to this plant are misguided.

I'd like to push for people who use cannabis to talk about it openly within the community. I want to see cannabis legalised and utilised for all it can achieve in terms of our economy.

Instead of wasting public money, we could invest it into our communities as well as generate revenue from cannabis sales. Legalisation would also open up a great deal of job opportunities, ranging from horticulture to hospitality.

This is something our country definitely needs right now."
