UK: NI: Police move in during cannabis solidarity rally currently under way at the Guildhall Square in Derry
Derry Now Friday 20 Apr 2018 The '4/20' event is being organised by the LegenDerry Cannabis Club. It began at 4:20pm, at which time those in attendance were asked to 'light up' in a show of solidarity and unity with other cannabis users across the world. 4/20 is a code-term that refers to the consumption of cannabis, especially smoking cannabis around the time 4:20 pm/am and smoking and celebrating cannabis on the date April 20. There were angry scenes last year when police moved in and removed a young person. The PSNI was also present at today's event, and have removed at least one person from the event. https://www.derrynow.com/news/breaking-police-move-cannabis-solidarity-rally-currently-way-guildhall-square-derry/220486
