UK: Cannabis denial by cafe boss

Thursday 23 Sep 2004 A KIDDERMINSTER cafe owner has appeared at Worcester Crown Court accused of allowing his premises to be used for smoking cannabis. The offence is alleged to have occurred at David Lyness's Crystals Cafe Shop in The Horsefair on February 19. Lyness, 43, of St Cecilia's Close, Kidderminster, pleaded not guilty and also denied a charge of possessing cannabis. He was remanded on bail for a trial date to be fixed.
