UK: Invitation to Clarke

The Legalise Cannabis Alliance has written to Norwich South MP Charles
Clarke asking him to attend their annual conference this year.

Last year the MP snubbed an invite to the Norwich-based pro-cannabis
party's conference at the University of East Anglia saying he had "no
respect" for the organisation behind it.

This month Mr Clarke said he would not upgrade cannabis back to grade B
from a grade C despite calls from anti-drugs campaigners to do so.

The Legalise Cannabis Alliance annual conference takes place on March 18
in the Congregation Hall of the UEA. Campaigners, cannabis users,
students and the general public are invited. the conference will start
at 11 am and go on until 5 pm.
