Malta: Police seize cannabis resin

The police Drug Squad yesterday registered another success with the
seizure of 34 grammes of cannabis resin in St Paul’s Bay.

The discovery came after several days of investigations and monitoring
following tip-offs that a residence in St Paul’s Bay was being used to
traffic drugs.

The Drug Squad raided the house early yesterday morning where they
discovered the cannabis, as well as controlled pills and other objects
related to the drug habit, the police said in a statement.

A 25-year-old woman was arrested and is assisting the police in their
investigations.
