UK: £30k cannabis haul found in hedge

Cannabis resin valued at more than £30,000 has been found hidden in a
hedge in West Cumbria.

The drugs were recovered in bushes near the junction of the A595 at
Blindcrake, near Cockermouth.

Cumbria Police believe the haul was stashed in the hedge sometime
between Wednesday and Friday.

A police spokesman appealed for any motorists or passers-by who saw
anyone acting suspiciously in the area to get in touch with them.
