Macedonia: Police seize 184 kilos of marihuana

Macedonian police have seized 184.3 kilograms of marihuana due to be
transported to neighboring Greece including the domestic market of
narcotic drugs. Three suspects were detained during the operation.

The police tracked down the drug, which was stashed in Volkswagen truck
run by Fuat Xh. (22), during a routine vehicle control on
Gevgelija-Bogdanci road.

The heroine, packed in 181 parcels, was stashed in a special bunker
beneath the vehicle.

Nazmi Xh. (32) from Skopje and Zoran P. (40) from Gevgelija have been
detained amid suspected involvement in marihuana smuggling ring. The
shipment came from neighboring Albania.
