Yemen Times
Wednesday 01 Mar 2006 The Yemeni police, in a campaign began last week, have arrested six citizens in Haimah, about 50 Km west Sana’a, for growing marijuana. The source did not mention the quantity seized, but the detainees will be transferred to related legal authority. Some tribesmen in Marib had previously destroyed marijuana trees planted by a citizen from Haimah working in a farm in Marib.
