Monday 10 Apr 2006 On Saturday night the police in Borgarnes confiscated 228 marijuana plants on a farm in the western part of Mýrar, reports Morgunbladid. One man was arrested and brought in for questioning. In addition to the marijuana plants, dried marijuana leaves, plant stems and tools for growing marijuana such as lamps, heating lamps and ventilation equipment were confiscated. According to Morgunbladid, the crops were in various stages of growth, and it was evident that the operation had been ongoing for some time
