Wednesday 12 Apr 2006 Cannabis campaigner Pat Tabram is facing two motoring charges. The 67-year-old grandmother, from East Lea, Humshaugh, Hexham, Northumberland, is accused of driving without insurance and failing to produce an insurance policy. Appearing at Hexham Magistrates' Court she was bailed to return on April 28. Tabram, who stood for the Legalise Cannabis Alliance as a Parliamentary candidate in the last General Election has advocated the use of cannabis for medicinal purposes. http://www.ccguide.org.uk/pattabram.php
