Morocco: INCB hails Morocco's efforts in eradicating cannabis cultivation
Morocco Times
Monday 19 Jun 2006 INCB hails Morocco's efforts in eradicating cannabis cultivation. The International Narcotics Control Board voiced satisfaction over the efforts that Morocco is making to fight illicit cannabis cultivation. In its annual report of 2005 on the world situation, the INCB hailed the Moroccan government for its efforts and called on it to carry on until the total eradication of this culture. The organization also urged the international community to support Morocco's efforts. The president of INCB said he was “glad that the production of cannabis resin in Morocco decreased by 10% over 2004,” a figure he described as “very important and significant.” The INCB is an independent and quasi-judicial control organ monitoring the implementation of the UN's drug control conventions. http://www.moroccotimes.com/News/article.asp?id=15468 http://www.ccguide.org.uk/
