Nepal: Three held with 350 kgs of marijuana

Police on Monday arrested three persons on charges of attempting to
smuggle 350 kgs of marijuana to India.

Police seized the marijuana from 32 different parcels in a truck with
registration number Na 1 Kha 759 on Lahan-Thandi road section near the
Indian border.

Police have arrested truck driver Raju Thapa, a resident of Dubarbana-7,
Bara, truck owner Ram Bilas Kuswaha of Birgunj-16 and marijuana
trafficker Sona Lal Yadav of Bhawaratar-3, Parsa.

Four days ago police had arrested three persons and seized 73 kg of
marijuana from Lahan area of the Mahendra Highway.
