UK: Arrests over 'cannabis factories'
BBC News
Saturday 29 Jul 2006 Police in Wiltshire say an anti-drugs operation has so far netted cannabis with an estimated street value of £2m and led to 15 arrests. Operation Dali had so far uncovered eight cannabis factories throughout the county, a spokesman said. Three properties were raided in Swindon and cannabis plants found on Friday. Det Insp Ian Saunders added: "The preparation and planning of these cannabis cultivation set-ups is clearly a well-organised operation." He added: "From the outside some of the houses we raided looked like normal residential homes. "Inside we found a completely different picture. Some of the properties were completely gutted and every available space used for the production of cannabis." http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/wiltshire/5227588.stm
