Ukraine: Police Uncover Pirate Factory Producing Marijuana-Based

Police have busted fraudsters who have been selling counterfeit
painkillers made from marihuana in Kiev, Ukraine’s capital.

Earlier, the police received a call that claimed a well-known branch of
holistic medicine drugstores was selling fake healthcare products.

The investigation lead to several people who mixed, ladled and packed
drugs in the backyard of a house in Kiev, ProUA reports.

Unexpectedly, it turned out the fraudsters were using marijuana in their
products. The plant was reportedly one of the ingredients in a painkiller.

Police confiscated some 15 kg of weed and ready counterfeit drugs worth
about $1,000.
