UK: Three years for £65,000 cannabis farm man Luke Traynor Liverpool Echo Thursday 24 Aug 2006 A MAN has been jailed after a large-scale cannabis farm worth up to £65,000 was uncovered at his home. Police swooped on a house in Runcorn in January and found 232 cannabis plants being used in a growing operation. Li Wang, 46, of Roland Avenue, was arrested and charged with cultivating cannabis and abstracting electricity. He was sentenced to three years and four months at Warrington crown court after a two day trial. Police estimated the value of the plants at between £11,500 and £65,000. PC Alan Wolff, of Cheshire police, said: "We will continue to arrest and prosecute those who cultivate cannabis to send out a strong message that drugs of any kind will not be tolerated." http://icliverpool.icnetwork.co.uk/
