UK: Cannabis factory discovered by landlord

A landlord who went knocking on his tenants door to collect overdue
rent, was shocked to discover a cannabis factory operating inside.
On finding the front door of the home, broken, Janghier Ahmed ventured
inside, where he had to climb over wires, pots, soil and leaves, before
he found a sea of cannabis plants in the two downstairs rooms.

Mr Ahmed (29), recognised the scenes from those recently featured on the
front pages of The Evening Telegraph, and dialled 999.

Police officers were sent straight out to the home in Peveril Road,
Millfield, Peterborough.
