UK: Tenth cannabis factory raided

POLICE seized about 60 cannabis plants, cash and electrical equipment
during a raid on a house in Queens Road, Watford.

The operation, carried out on Monday by police officers from the western
area tactical team, takes the number of cannabis factories uncovered in
Watford this year up to ten.

Sixteen cannabis factories have been raided so far this year in the
western area and 20 in the county.

A 32-year-old man was arrested during the raid and charged with the
cultivation of cannabis plants, abstracting electricity, criminal
damage, possession of Class A drugs, two counts of possession with
intent to supply and money laundering.

He is due before West Herts Magistrates on a date to be confirmed.
