UK: Police cull cannabis crops
Luton Today
Tuesday 07 Nov 2006 More factories tracked down in town Four more cannabis factories in Luton with crops worth £200,000 have been discovered by police in just three days. The first was in Carlton Crescent and was found after police attended a report of a break-in on Tuesday afternoon. No-one was at the house, but it was full of plants ready for harvest. On Wednesday, locksmiths in Austin Road and Williton Road called the police after finding evidence of cannabis factories. In both cases the electricity supply had been tampered with, but no plants were found. At the fourth house, police uncovered a crop of about 460 plants on Thursday with a street value of £200,000. A 29-year-old Vietnamese illegal immigrant was arrested and was remanded in custody at Luton Magistrates' Court when he appeared there charged with production of cannabis. http://www.lutontoday.co.uk/ViewArticle2.aspx?SectionID=541&ArticleID=1861827 -- WebBooks Amazing Amazon Store: http://astore.amazon.co.uk/webbooks05
