UK: Man jailed for cannabis operation
BBC News
Tuesday 28 Nov 2006 A man has been jailed for 15 months for running a cannabis farm from an outbuilding near his home. Robert Webster, 59, of Stratton Strawless, Norfolk, admitted producing and possessing cannabis. He was arrested in July after a police raid found 653 grams of cannabis worth £13,500 and 227 plants with a street value of £16,500. Norwich Crown Court heard that Webster denied he was growing the plants as a "commercial enterprise". He said he used the drug as a painkiller for his back pain. The court heard that Webster lives in a caravan near the outbuilding. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/norfolk/6192608.stm -- Please sign these petitions: http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/search?q=Cannabis+ WebBooks Amazing Amazon Store: http://astore.amazon.co.uk/webbooks05
