Drugs squad officers have carried out a second raid in the
Uckfield/Heathfield area, it has been revealed this morning.

Officers from the Wealden Neighbourhood Policing Team, and plain clothes
officers from the Wealden Operations Team, executed a search warrant
under the Misuse of Drugs Act, at a private house in Cross in Hand
during the morning of February 13.

A total of 50cannabis plants were found growing in the loft space.

These were seized, together with the associated hydroponics equipment.

A few days earlier around 500 cannabis plants had been found in a raid
at Buxted.
