Wednesday 28 Feb 2007 A CANNABIS grower was told to take up gardening by a sheriff yesterday to make better use of his green fingers. John Kidd, 40, was fined £400 after previously admitting growing the drug. Cannabis plants, lamps and watering cans were found during a police raid at his Nairn home last March. Inverness Sheriff Court heard that Kidd, the father of two young children, was psychologically addicted to the drug he had used since he was 12. Sheriff Kenneth Robb accepted the drugs were for personal use but told him: "You seem to have horticultural skills and talents. "I suggest you take up gardening." http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/
