Spain: 15 tons of cannabis seized at Algeciras Port

It was hidden amongst a lorry-load of vegetables on the ferry from Tangiers

A joint operation by Civil Guard and Customs Authorities has seized 15
tons of cannabis resin at the Port in Algeciras. It came over by ferry
from Tangiers, in Morocco, on board a refrigerated trailer. The Civil
Guard say it was hidden amongst a cargo of green beans and courgettes.

Investigators say the vehicle made the same trip several times a year
and was likely used for that purpose on each occasion. The operation
remains open.
