Australia: Sydney police seize 554 cannabis plants

The Age

Saturday 31 Mar 2007

---
Police have seized 554 cannabis plants worth $1.7 million in Sydney's
south but have made no arrests so far.

An ongoing investigation resulted in police executing search warrants at
12pm (AEST) on Friday at three premises at Sandringham, Taren Point and
Hurstville Grove.

The plants were being cultivated in sophisticated, hydroponic
environments, police say.

No arrests were made over the raids, but police say they are continuing
their investigation.
