UK: Man who gave friends cannabis faces jail term

Wednesday 30 May 2007 A 20-YEAR-OLD man who supplied cannabis to friends has been warned he faces a possible jail sentence. Adam Brown, from Merlin Way, East Grinstead, pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis resin and herbal cannabis with intent to supply. He has also admitted possession of cocaine and amphetamine but not with intent to supply. Brown, who appeared at Lewes Crown Court last Friday, has no previous convictions. John Marsden-Lynch, defending, told the court that Brown supplied a small amount of cannabis to friends on a "non-commercial" basis.
