Singapore: chillies free of cannabis
Independent On Line South Africa
Wednesday 27 Jun 2007 Singapore - A brand of chilli peppers will soon be back on retail shelves in Singapore after authorities lifted their ban, officials said on Wednesday. The Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) told supermarkets to withhold sales of S&B Assorted Chili Pepper last week following reports that the Hong Kong government found traces of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). THC is a psychoactive substance found in cannabis. No cannabis seeds or THC were detected in the AVA's investigation. - Sapa-dpa http://www.iol.co.za/
