UK: Cannabis factory smashed in raid

Police uncovered a cannabis factory when they carried out a drugs raid on a property in Northamptonshire.

About 280 mature cannabis plants and a quantity of the processed drug were found by officers who raided a house in Rutland Street, Kettering.

No-one was in the property when the raid took place on Wednesday morning.

Anyone with information about the factory, or any of the people who worked there or set it up, has been asked to contact police.
