UK: Cannabis is seized from address

TWO people were arrested after a number of cannabis plants and growing
equipment were recovered from an address in Barrowcliff, Scarborough.
A 20-year-old man and 39-year-old woman have been bailed pending further
inquiries following the arrests on Sunday evening.

PC Phillip Coles, of Scarborough Police, said: “Cannabis is a major
factor in anti-social behaviour and those who are involved in growing it
are not only contributing to the negative effects on the community but
to add insult to injury are making a lot of money on the back of it.”
