Peterborough Herald And Post Wednesday 19 Apr 2000 EVERYTHING you ever wanted to know about cannabis but were to afraid to ask will be on offer at Norman Road Community Centre next Wednesday. The public meeting has been called by local election candidate, Marcus Davies who is running for the Legalise Cannabis Alliance. The father-of-two has been using cannabis for more than 10 years to control his epileptic fits and is calling for the drug to be de-criminalised. He said: "This meeting is to tell people why I am standing, what the stance is and tell them, 'no I'm not a drug crazed idiot who wants to legalise all drugs.' "I want to make sure everybody has the opportunity to know what I'm talking about." The meeting at the centre in Eastfield starts at 7pm and will feature guest speakers and a question and answers session. Mr Davies encouraged anyone with particular beliefs or who wants to find out more to "come and listen to what I have to say, and ask questions."
