In 1997, 45,362 people were cautioned, 18,000 fined, 4000 put on probation and 500 jailed... all for the possession of cannabis.

Others have been refused entry into or deported from the USA, again for the possesion of cannabis.

And yet Home Secretary Jack Straw has allowed a convicted US rapist into the UK.

I say foul!
