The Third Annual Legalise Cannabis Conference

Legalise Cannabis Alliance

LCA Announcement

Friday 05 Apr 2002

The Third Annual Legalise Cannabis Conference will be held
in Norwich at UEA on April 6th.

The day will consist of speeches and questions and answers from many of our previous LCA candidates and hopefully some who will be standing in the local elections in May. All speakers from the front will be endorsees, but we hope to hold an open discussion during the second half of the afternoon.

The focus in this years conference will be on shaping government policy on annabis (hemp).

We hope that this will provide an extremely valuable networking opportunity.

Seats are once again limited and will be on a first-paid-first-served basis.

The charge will be 5.00 pounds per delegate, payable in advance by cheque / PO and sent to: Printed, published & promoted by the Legalise Cannabis Alliance, PO Box 2883, Stoke-on_Trent, ST4 9EE

This year we will provide tea or coffee during the afternoon break, but delegates will be free to make their own
arrangements for lunch. You will have plenty of time to eat at one of the UEA venues, or even take a bus into the city, and we hope to offer the alternative of a pre-packed lunch.
Details will be sent along with confirmation of booking.

The day will run approximately like this:
Morning session 10 AM to noon
Lunch noon to 2 pm
Afternoon session 2 PM to 3.30 PM
Break in Common Room for refreshments 3.30 PM to 4 PM
Final session and floor debate 4 PM to 5.30
Relaxation in common room 5.30 to 7 pm
7.30 pm onwards delegates and guests are invited to join us in a nearby pub for a pay-as-you-go meal. Details closer to the time.

We may show a video during the lunch break. There will be an LCA stall and an LCA raffle with an excellent first prize (details pending)

Accommodation: there are a limited number of free beds and some floor space, and Norwich has a fine range of B & B and hotel rooms, as well as rooms at UEA itself. Details on request.

NOTE: The cost of the tickets barely covers the cost of the event, so please try to add a small donation when you pay,and on the day!
