Buster Nolan Election Communication
Wednesday 06 Jun 2001 HEMP REVOLUTION, GLOBAL EVOLUTION Vote for a Healthy Future Vote Buster Nolan for Braintree All of my life I have been warned of the global catastrophes in the future. Well, they have arrived. In a Big Way SO WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT IT? VOTE FOR CANNABIS / HEMP VOTE FOR LIFE, VOTE FOR JUSTICE YOU can do your part and Use your vote wisely Get informed Get involved And follow your Heart HEMP IS HOPE, NOT JUST DOPE I live with my partner and three daughters in Gt Bardfield. I have been campaigning for many years about the ever worsening state of our trees and how Hemp will help save them and us. I am dedicated to getting this message out there because somebody has the take a stand about these issues. The situation is urgent. The trees are dying. They cannot grow under ozone holes, the sunlight is too fierce. Car and industrial pollution is also killing them. We need a 'new lung' and we've got one - cannabis / hemp. But it's against the law to grow it without a hard-to-get license. It's not against the law because people smoke it, but because hemp makes fuel, oil, paper, medicine, food and much more. Free the world and you free the people. Local solutions to local problems. For many thousands of years the Hemp plant has grown in Britain. Before the industrial revolution, it was the weavers' dream plant cultivated in every cottage garden. The seed was traded on the stock exchange as are oranges and spices today. Seed merchants brought seed from Africa, India and Russia to sell to their customers, your great grand-mum and dad, to grow in their fields and gardens. The Hemp that grew fuelled both the oil lamps and the local economies. Each year the best seed was kept for the next season. The flowering tops was kept and used as medicine for the body and the spirit, the seed for food, the stem for wood, pulp and fibre, and the roots to bind and invigorate the soil. In twenty weeks a mini forest twenty feet high dancing in the wind, pulling up water, infusing essences and making good clean air for us to breathe. But Hemp is also known as cannabis. In 1996, the leader of the house, Tony Newton said: "I believe the trees are sick but I cannot help unless you drop the hemp issue." Unfortunately, cannabis / hemp IS the issue. Nothing else in the plant world is so perfectly suited to the needs of this time. And no other plant so useful is banned in almost every country on earth. In olden days the forest Stretched right around our globe Air the very, very best, Made from our Mother's robe. For centuries we've been raping her, Tearing off her dress, Doing what is best for us, No matter what the mess. Now our ancient forest lungs Are standing on the brink They make the oxygen And soon they'll be extinct. When you cut a forest You leave the topsoil bare Wind and rain remove it Nothing then grows there. So why not make a brand new dress, The best she's ever seen, To cover up her nakedness, And turn our planet green? In twenty weeks she's wearing A dress of emerald green, Everyone is staring Once again she is the Queen. Gone are all the poisons Just taste that lovely air. Cannabis is a wonder plant! Ten thousand gifts to share! VOTE HEMP VOTE LIFE VOTE FOR FREEDOM VOTE BUSTER NOLAN
