Cannabis Activists Gather To Formulate Tactics

Sunday 31 Mar 2002 The third annual LCA conference will be held in Norwich on Saturday April 6th. Anyone who wishes to attend and has not yet booked a ticket should do so now. Tickets can be reserved by sending a cheque or postal order for 5 payable to the "LCA" to LCA, PO Box 198, Norwich, NR2 2DH Donations also appreciated. This is an important opportunity for serious cannabis activists to get together and formulate plans for action over the coming year, in particular our reactions to the expected reclassification of cannabis, the policy changes by the Lib Dems and others over the last 12 months, etc. We will also have a chance to hear from many of the LCA candidates from last year's general election campaign. NOTES FOR EDITORS: The Legalise Cannabis Alliance (LCA) registered as apolitical party in March 1999. The LCA fielded 13 candidates at the last general election as well as some in local elections and by-elections.
