In March, we gained 65 new endorsees, bringing the total to 1332

The Legalise Cannabis on-line petition now has well over 7000 signatures.

- 19 March: appeared with Patman Denning (Milton Keynes SW) on BBC News Look
East talking about UK cannabis cafes. Also Edited version on 18-30 evening

- Interviewed by Dream FM - local Chelmsford Radio
- Radio chat in on BBC Radio Essex - Dave Monk show - re International

- 21 March: Interviewed by Essex FM - broadcast on hourly news bulletins from 3
pm to midnight - re: Some police already ignore cannabis in Essex.
- Also had a debate on BBC Radio Tyneside With Tiggy May co-author of The
Roundtree Foundation Report.

- Interview with East Anglian Daily Times re - coffee shops. Article published

- Interview by Brighton & Hove local paper - passed him to Jerry Ham - resulted
in good article - although it had couple of mistakes about sentencing..

- Phone call from CNN News passed to Chris Baldwin (appeared on CNN News on
March 29)
- Interview with Chelmsford Yellow Advertiser - published article not seen yet.
I also had various interviews from other media sources and managed to put many
others in contact with people who have specialist knowledge

7 March: Mark Gibson (Penrith & The Border) spoke to sociology students at the

10 March: Lezley Gibson appeared on a panel alongside Eileen McCarthy, Simon
Hughes MP and Professor John Ashton of Liverpool University, on Granada TV's
Sunday Supplement show.
