Saturday 07 Dec 2002 Dutch Experience by Nol van Shaik hardback 24 pounds paperback 20 pounds supporting the Legalise Cannabis Alliance Nol van Shaik was the inspiration behind the first public cannabis cafes in the UK; the Dutch Experience in Stockport. Nol himself has been involved with running some great coffeeshops in Haarlem, in Holland, and has also founded a cannabis hemp museum in the same Dutch city. Whether you speak to the man in person or read his book, one cannot fail to be impressed by the wealth of his knowledge and experience in the world of cannabis. this book tells us where he learned much of it. It is the tale of 30 years of Dutch coffeeeshops - from the pioneering days in Amsterdam through the introduction of hydroponics and indoor cannabis gardening to the new pioneers on the UK coffeeshop campaign. An easy and enjoyable read, full of surprises and stuff that is new to most of us - it is an inspiration. I would recommend it to all readers and it will make an excellent Christmas present but you'll have to act fast for that! Books will be posted direct from Holland.
