Picky centre to stage court hearing

Wednesday 02 Apr 2003 Four days have been set aside during June and Julyfor the trial of Orkney Multiple Sclerosis sufferer Biz Ivol who is accused of supplying, growing and possessing cannabis. And a specially-convened court will be held in the Pickaquoy sports complex in Kirkwall which is accessible to wheelchair users The new trial dates have been set down for June 18 and 19 and July 2 and 3. Mrs Ivol (53), Craigflower Cottage, South Ronaldsay, denies possessing cannabis and growing and two cannabis plants in her house on August 6, 2001, and supplying the class B drug between May 6 and August 1, 2001 to John Murray, 28 Mortimer's Court, Dalgety Bay, Fife.The accused is to be represented by a legal team headed by advocate David Moggach
