UNJUST PUNISHMENT OF A SICK MAN

IT IS not often you publish a letter of such passion and anger as that of
Alun Buffry of the Legalise Cannabis Alliance (June 30).

I share his outraged feelings about the Norfolk pensioner who was using
cannabis to relieve severe pain from cramps (June 24).

Mr Buffry asks: "Can anyone justify this type of prosecution?" I know what
my answer is, and I hope you receive many replies to his letter deploring
this unjust treatment of Mr Bernard Holt.
