Government using charities to fight war on drugs? Don Barnard Press Release Tuesday 23 Sep 2003 Paragraph 2 of Governments "FRANK Action Update" [see 1 below] reads: "It appears that there are few barriers to contacting FRANK on any drug-related issue due to the welcoming personality and FRANK is becoming firmly established as knowledgeable and credible." Chinese Whispers say: Frank is passing the buck to Charities on the cheap. ALLEGEDLY, charities are under pressure for advice from people referred to them by Frank's paid advisers. THE CHARITIES get no financial support for this service from government! ALLEGEDLY - The government spending on just one advert promoting Frank would fund a full time worker for these groups.
