Cannabis People Meet In Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham

Organiser of the 2004 Healing of the Nations, Cannabis Festival in
Birmingham has been inviting cannabis people from all over the UK using the
internet.

Osborne Douglas this years organiser said: "Two years ago when I last
organised a meeting about 20 people turned up...I've invited a few more this
year."

Osborne Douglas has contacted both Birmingham city council and the local
Cannon Hill police to inform them of the meeting.

Colin Preece, Legalise Cannabis Alliance prospective candidate for the ward
of Sheldon in the local elections said: "The Legalise Cannabis Alliance is
contesting all 13 Wards in Norwich for the local elections in May.... "I
would like to see the same thing happening in Birmingham."


"As far as I'm concerned the whole UK population needs to be informed about
cannabis hemps benefits to humanity and people who do not use cannabis are
more than welcome to attend and hear our message.

"It is about time our government organised the mass production and
processing of cannabis hemp for sustainable development, nationally and
within the commonwealth.


"Anyone who wants to talk to me about cannabis, I'll be there on the 1st May
enjoying the sunshine in the central reservation or, in the restaurant if
it's raining ."
