The Legalise Cannabis Alliance plan is to place the legislation and
utilisation of cannabis firmly on the agenda at this election.

One can presumes this will be a colourful noisy display -:)

Mondays Schedule:

12 30GMT and 13:30 GMT: Mark Gibson LCA Candidate for Penrith & The Borders
is scheduled to take part in a radio debate at the Reghed Visitors Centre
Penrith for Radio Cumbria:


* 13 45GMT (approximately): Manifesto Launch [1]

* Note: LCA Candidates present [2]


* 12 45GMT (approximately): - LCA battle bus displaying a 3 square
banner will travel from Reghed Visitors Centre to Carlisle city centre.


* On arrival at Carlisle City centre The group will be meeting the
people and will be handing out election leaflets.


NOTE: There may be a further chance of interviews/photo calls in Carlisle
city centre.

1] Proposals and promises, and what LCA foresee if our policies are
adopted.

Proposals

* That the possession, cultivation and use of pure cannabis and
cannabis products be free from prosecution.

* That high priority be given to the cultivation of cannabis for the
express purpose of the localised production of virtually cost-free fuels
throug the process of pyrolysis on cannabis biomass, and as a source of
fibre and hurd.

* That provision be made to enable the setting up of outlets for the
legal supply of cannabis.

* That provision be made to enable the setting up of public
establishments where the use of cannabis is permitted.

Promises

* Decrease in general crime rate
.
* Easing of the drugs problem.

* Increase in police and court resources to fight serious crime.

* Increase in Government revenue through taxation on profits.

* Increase in public and social well being, spirit, health and
happiness.

* Decrease in pollution.

* Decrease in the price of fuel, energy and power for our homes,
businesses,
