UK: Caithness cannabis grower jailed

A MAN who grew cannabis in a "mini-farm" on the northerly tip of mainland Britain was jailed for six months yesterday.

Stuart Nisbet, 52, grew 10 plants in a cottage in Dunnet, Caithness. Police found them last August and estimated they would yield drugs worth £550.

Nisbet admitted growing the plants and said he used the drug for chronic back pain.
