Drug bust after blaze

DETECTIVES busted a cannabis farm after a blaze in a house in Lupset.
They were called to the scene, on Broadway, by firefighters on Saturday night when 300 hundred suspected cannabis plants were found.

No-one was injured during the blaze, which is believed to have been caused by an elecrtical fault in equipment used to cultivate the drugs.

Police are still hunting the suspects.
