Canada: Marijuana March Lights Up For 10th Anniversary

The day long celebration of all things cannabis is perhaps a misnomer. After all, it's hard to image a large group of pot-smoking, freedom loving, hacky sack playing people to really march anywhere.

But take to the streets they did, to fight for their right to spark up.

The afternoon march took thousands of demonstrators from Queen's Park to Bloor, then east Yonge, south to Wellesley, and back to Queen's Park.

It's the 10th anniversary for the event, and similar strolls took place all around the world.
