U.k:Stopped car holds £1m of cannabis

Almost £1m of cannabis has been seized by police who stopped a car on the M1 in Bedfordshire.

Officers recovered the drugs, with a street value of £961,000, after stopping the vehicle near junction 11 of the M1 on Thursday.

A raid was then carried out on a property in the Streatley area of the county and police seized suspected cocaine worth about £100,000.

Two people were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply drugs.
