Ie:Drug arrests 'highlight needs for bail law overhaul'

Fine Gael says a multi-million euro drug seizure in Dublin last night hihglights the needs for a complete overhaul of the bail system.
Three men were arrested after around €5m worth of heroin and herbal cannabis was found at an industrial estate in Clondalkin.

One of the men is reported to be on bail at the moment, while the drugs reportedly belonged to a gang being run by a man who is in prison.

Fine Gael's justice spokesperson, Charlie Flanagan, says this situation would be farcical if it wasn't so serious.
