UK: Man used drugs to ease leg pain Nick Hyde Blackpool Gazette Monday 22 Sep 2008 Nathan Snelson, 30, of Portree Road, Bispham, admitted possessing Class C drugs. Martine Connah, prosecuting, said the defendant was searched by police and a small piece of cannabis was found in his possession. Howard Green, defending, said: “He used cannabis as a painkiller. He had a serious leg injury and was registered as disabled. He now manages to work.” Snelson was fined £130 and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ charge by Blackpool magistrates. http://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/
